New tourism law comes into force in Russia

On May 5th a new tourism law came into force in Russia, Interfax cites the federal agency for tourism as saying.

The bill was adopted by the State Duma on April 27, 2012. President Dmitry Medvedev signed the bill into law on May 3rd.

The new law introduces governmental financial guarantees for both tourists and tourist agencies.
