The Kabardino-Balkarian government approved the program of moving
citizens from poor-condition housing, promoting low-rise housing
construction in 2010, apportioning 127 million rubles.
According to Interfax, the program will allow 7300 sq. m. of
poor-condition housing to be demolished and move 445 people from 21
multi-apartment houses. 119.9 million is apportioned from the housing
and community amenities and 7.3 million from the local budget. 6
municipal bodies are participating in the project. There are a total
of 41 buildings in poor condition.
