Russian President Vladimir Putin and Abkhaz President Alexander Ankvab are observing a border post on the Russian-Abkhaz border along the River Psou, RIA Novosti reports.
Construction of the Adler Car-Crossing Post was completed last year. Testing it started on January 25, 2012, the full launch was organized on March 16. It has advanced equipment for trucks and passenger vehicles.
Reconstruction of the pedestrian bridge at the Adler Post continues. Over 80% of it has been reconstructed. The process is to end in late June. The bridge will be launched in July-August 2012.
