Due to the bad meteorological conditions the plane of Russian president Vladimir Putin had to land in Krasnodar, RIA Novosti reports referring to the Kremlin press-service.
Putin met with the local governor Alexandr Tkachev about the regional problems.
Tkachev in his turn said to the journalists that this visit was totally unexpected for him. He added that usually the preparations for such visits take several days, but now everything was organized in one hour.
“I hope that Putin liked it. We showed the city to him”, added Tkachev.
