Armenian police check violations during parliamentary elections

Armenian police are checking 174 reports of violations during the parliamentary elections in Armenia, held on May 6,  NEWS.am reports. This was announced today in an interview with reporters by the First Deputy Chief of the Armenian Police, Major General of Police Hunan Poghosyan. According to him, they are mainly concerned with electoral bribery, voting instead of other citizens, hampering the work of the media and so on.

On the day of the parliamentary elections, the police received 127 reports, including 25 on the "hot line", 59 from duty units, 41 via the internet and 2 from observers.
