The foreign minister of Azerbaijan, Elmar Mamedyarov, has welcomed a delegation headed by the chairman of the People’s Assembly of Bulgaria, Tsetska Tsacheva, Trend reports, citing the press service of the Foreign Ministry.
Mamedyarov told the guest about Azerbaijan’s contribution to development of the region.
The minister expressed satisfaction with the current relations between two countries and emphasized the importance of their further development.
Tsacheva expressed satisfaction with her visit to Azerbaijan and stated that she had witnessed the rapid economic development of the country.
Tsacheva told Mamedyarov that the parliament of Bulgaria plans to hold an exhibition devoted to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.
