US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will head the US delegation at an APEC forum on women’s role in economy in Saint-Petersburg on June 28-30, RIA Novosti cites Gennady Ovechko, a senior official of Russia at APEC.
A plenary session will be held on May 30. Ministers and other high-ranking officials will attend. The Russian delegation will be headed by Valentina Matviyenko, former Governor of St. Petersburg and current head of the Federation Council.
The 24th meeting of APEC leaders will be held in Vladivostok in September 2012. It is the first APEC summit hosted by Russia.
