The European Union has urged Armenia to hold presidential polls in 2013 according to international standards, Mediamax reports.
The OSCE ODIHR reports states the drawbacks of parliamentary polls of 2012 that need to be resolved. The EU says that Armenia has achieved progress in realizing key recommendations after signing the association agreement with the European Union. The sides should start negotiating free trade agreements.
