Syrian President Bashar al-Assad condemned the UN stance on the crisis in the country on Wednesday and said the United Nations only talks about acts of violence committed by the government but doesn't recognize the fact that the rebels are also violating human rights.
Assad also told the Russia-24 TV channel that he is ready to meet the UN special envoy to Syria, Kofi Annan, in May.
