Settlement of the Iranian problem should only be carried out through diplomacy, as stated by Tajik Foreign Minister Hamrokhon Zarifi at the Institute for Middle Asia and the Caucasus at the University of John Hopkins, ITAR-TASS reports.
Iran is not Iraq or Afghanistan, says the minister. All problems should be solved via negotiations, Zarifi clarifies. Iran is a complicated partner, but it has the right for nuclear energy and development of science. At the same time, Tajikistan is opposed to nuclear development in Iran, the foreign minister emphasizes.
