The Federal Arbitration Court of the North Caucasus Federal District has approved decisions of the Dagestani Arbitration Court and the Sixteenth Arbitration Court of Appeal to fine the Dagestani electricity distribution company 15 million rubles, RIA Dagestan reports.
The company violated the law on competition. The Federal Antimonopoly Service is fining the company 15,718,944 rubles.
Dagestan has only one company distributing electricity, so it is responsible for supplying the republic with electricity non-stop. Any violation by the company in this sphere is unacceptable, head of the Antimonopoly Directorate Kurban Kubasayev said commenting on the court’s decision.
