Russia reacts to anti-Russian protests in Turkey

The Turkish Chargé d’Affaires in Russia received a protest note at the fourth European Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry on Thursday for anti-Russian protests in Istanbul, spokesman of the ministry Alexander Lukashevich said, RIA Novosti reports.

Istanbul held mass anti-Russian protests on May 12-13. Insults against the Russian authorities could be heard. Protests threatening Russian territorial unity are unacceptable, Lukashevich said, commenting at the International Conference on the Caucasus in Istanbul.
