Ingushetia has moved the marking of the 20th anniversary of the republic from June 4 to June 9, RIA Novosti cites press secretary of Ingush leader Angela Matiyeva as saying.
June 4 is Monday, many guests will arrive on that day, so celebrations were set for June 9, a Saturday, so as not to ruin anyone’s plans.
The framework of the celebrations includes many performances, sporting events and a group of Ingush alpinists climbing Mount Everest.
