Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Muhammedbagir Bahrami is on his way to Tehran for consultations. Ahmed Nemati is the Iranian Charge d’Affaires in Azerbaijan, RIA Novosti reports.
The ambassador was called off due to insults against Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei shouted out during protests at the Iranian Embassy in Baku.
