A landslide warning was declared for south Russia's Krasnodar Territory on Monday by emergency services, Yuga.ru reports.
“Landslides are possible in the areas of the cities of Novorossiysk, Gelendzhik, Sochi, Goryachy Kluch and also on the territory of Tuapsinsky, Apsheronsly and the Belorechensky districts” – the warning read, reports Yuga.ru.
Emergency services said the landlsides could cause the destruction of houses and other buildings, plus communications infrastructure and gas, water and oil pipelines. Disruptions are also possible to the transport system.
