Turkey plans to open a General Consulate and a trading office in Rostov-on-Don, Rossiyskaya Gazeta cites Turkish Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Russia Aydyn Adnan Sezgin.
The ambassador met Governor of the Rostov Region Vasily Golubev and expressed hope that an official diplomatic mission would open soon. Sezgin noted that opening the consulate and the trading office is necessary for development of business.
Sezgin requested the governor to assist in increasing the quota for foreign labour and simplification of customs procedures for Turkish enterprises.
Golubev assured that interest in cooperation is mutual and expressed readiness to consider proposals of joint work at any moment.
