The Syrian conflict may reach Lebanon, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said at a meeting with his counterpart from Sri Lanka on Wednesday, RIA Novosti reports.
Lebanese pilgrims have been kidnapped at Syria’s Aleppo. Taking the ethnic and religious peculiarities of the local population, the situation may aggravate, Lavrov says.
The foreign minister added that Syrian opposition must cease fire according to the plan of Kofi Annan and decisions of the UN Security Council.
