Abubakar Edelgeriyev has been approved as the Chechen Prime Minister, the official website of the Chechen government reports.
Isa Tumkhajiyev was approved as the First Vice Premier.
Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov and head of the Presidential and Governmental Administration Magomed Daudov attended the legislative assembly where the officials were appointed.
Kadyrov praised Edelgeriyev for his success in agriculture and Tumkhajiyev in economics, industry, education and healthcare.
Edelgeriyev was the Chechen Vice Premier and Minister for Agriculture. Tumkhajiyev was the Acting Vice Premier and was responsible for social affairs.
