President of Udmurtia Alexander Volkov has made the Buranovskiye Babushki singers the People’s Artists of Udmurtia, Trend reports.
The People’s Artist Rank was given to Granya Baysarova, Alevtina Begisheva, Zoya Dorodova, Galina Koneva, Natalya Pugacheva, Valentina Pyatchenko, Yekaterina Shklyayeva and their Art Director Olga Tuktareva.
The Buranovskiye Babushki Group represents Russia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2012. The singers entered the final on the night of Tuesday-Wednesday. They will perform their Party For Everyone song numbered 6th on the night of Saturday-Sunday.
