The IAEA experts have found traces of enriched uranium at Iran's underground site. The uranium is enriched to higher levels than is accepted and is more suitable for the production of nuclear weapons, the Associated Press reports.
"The finding by the International Atomic Energy Agency does not necessarily mean that Iran is secretly raising its enrichment threshold," – AP reports.
Experts said that the found uranium might be produced in the process of enriching centrifuges until the desired level.
The West suspects Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons while Tehran claims its program is aimed only at nuclear energy and research.
