The Atlantic Council of Georgia with the assistance of the Norwegian Atlantic Council will hold a regional workshop 'The challenges of democratic development and good governance in Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia' in Tbilisi, Trend reports.
The Atlantic Associations of Azerbaijan and Armenia will attend the seminar.
The seminar will address the following issues: the current security environment in the South Caucasus, opportunities and challenges, security and defense policy in the context of Euro-Atlantic partnership, problems of transparency and accountability in the systems of defense and security.
Purpose of the seminar is to evaluate threats to security in the region and establish a deep dialogue within the Euro-Atlantic cooperation. The seminar will bring together experts in security and defense, journalists, representatives of state institutions, and students.
The event will be held the Foundation for Strategic and International Studies in Georgia at 12.00 local time.
