New clashes have occurred between Turkish forces and Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) militants, Interfax reports.
The clash happened at the Besta Region of the Sirnac Province of Turkey. A Turkish lieutenant died.
Clashes happened in the Mus Province at the Varto Region. 3 militants were caught, one escaped.
The PKK admitted responsibility for the suicide bombing in Turkey as revenge for political and armed attacks on Kurds. The blast happened in Pinarbasi on Friday. A police officer died and at least 18 people were injured.
