Russia is not satisfied with the way the Syrian government has fulfilled the plan of Kofi Annan, special envoy of the LAS and UN to Syria, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said, RIA Novosti reports.
There is progress in reducing violence, but the massacre in Houla on May 25 shows that a lot needs to be done, said Lavrov at a meeting with his British counterpart William Hague.
The international society needs to develop additional mechanisms for realization of Annan’s plan, the Russian minister insists.
