Putin: Russia intends to develop strategic partnership with Azerbaijan

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Ilham Aliyev on Azerbaijan's
Republic Day, noting that Russia is set to further increase
cooperation with Azerebaijan, RIA Novosti reports, referring to the
Kremlin press service.

Putin noted that Azerbaijan has achieved notable results in the field
of economic, social development and welfare of citizens.

The Russian President appreciated the positive dynamics of
Russian-Azerbaijani relations, which he said is developing on the
basis of "friendship, mutual sympathy and confidence."
