Russian Patriarch Kirill has expressed satisfaction with his visit to Kazakhstan for the fourth assembly of world and traditional religions, as he stated at the Astana Airport, News Kazakhstan reports.
Kirill said that Kazakhstan has a harmony of religions, fruitful and constructive ties between the state and religious organizations.
The Patriarch will visit the Astana Cathedral on May 29 and bless new buildings of the Kazakh metropolitan. He will attend the meeting of religious representatives at the Palace of Peace and Consent in Astana on May 30.
Kazakhstan is hosting the fourth assembly of world and traditional religions. It will be held on May 30-31 this year. The first such meeting was organized in 2003. Representatives of Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, Judaism, Daoism and Shintoism will arrive. The patriarch is attending it for the second time. His first attendance was in 2010.
