CIS prime ministers meet in Turkmenistan

Turkmenistan is hosting the CIS Council of prime ministers to consider 30 integration documents today, Trend reports.

This includes the concept for liberalization of financial services of CIS states and a project to develop an integrated currency market. The latter will allow banks and other subjects to carry out currency operations and bank transfers.

A protocol with amendments to the agreement on parallel operation of electric systems of CIS states, signed on November 25, 1998, will be presented. An agreement on tourism will be considered.

Attendants of the meeting will study results of documented revisions of financial-economic activities of CIS institutions financed by the single budget and will discuss amendments to CIS bills.

Turkmenistan is chairing the CIS in 2012.
