Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met Constantine Kosachev, Russian representative for CIS affairs and head of the Federal Agency for Links with Compatriots Living Abroad and Humanitarian Cooperation (Rossotrudnichestvo) today, Trend reports.
Kosachev greeted Aliyev on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin and Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev and congratulated Aliyev on the Day of Republic.
Kosachev emphasized importance of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum for further development of cooperation.
The sides exchanged views on issues on mutual interest. Aliyev thanked Putin and Medvedev.
