Georgia calls Turkey one of closest trade partners

 

Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri has met Turkish Vice Premier Bulent Arync and called Turkey one of the main investors and trade partners of Georgia, Trend reports.

Turkey is realizing the Kars-Akhalkalaki Railway and power line construction with Georgia. The railway will be done in 1.5 years, running from Middle Asia to Europe.

Arync noted that Turkey has been friends with Georgia for a long time. The two states have marked the 20th anniversary of their relations this year. Turkey supports Georgian territorial unity, the Arync adds.
