Russia will seek to review the verdict of Russians sentenced to life in prison in Libya, Foreign Ministry spokesman Alexander Lukashevich said on Monday, RIA Novosti reports.
On Monday, the Libyan authorities announced the verdict to the Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians detained previously for assisting the troops of Gaddafi. One Russian citizen was charged with coordinating the group and was sentenced to life imprisonment. Other defendants were sentenced to ten years of imprisonment.
