Syrian opposition has formed the Syrian Insurrectionary Front to coordinate military operations against President Bashar al-Assad, RBC reports.
Formation of the front was announced in Istanbul. Opposition plans to support the Syrian Liberation Army.
Vestnik Kavkaza reported earlier that opposition plans to scrap the peace plan of Kofi Annan, special envoy of the UN and LAS. Major Sami al-Kudri of the opposition forces expects the international society to take harsh measures to settle the conflict, such as introduction of the no-fly zone. He added that opposition will no longer follow the peace plan on June 8.
