Ali Larijani has been re-elected as the Iranian Speaker of Parliament, RIA Novosti reports.
Larijani got 173 out of 275 votes in Tehran in late May, Golyam Haddad Adel got 100 votes.
Iran concluded the second round of parliamentary polls on May 4. 65 candidates were elected. President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's supporters got 13 seats, opposition got 41, independent candidates got 11.
Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's coalition got most votes on May 2.
Iran had presidential polls on June 12, 2009.
