Georgian president skips question about political prospects

 

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili has not given a clear answer about his political prospects at a meeting with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, News Georgia reports.

The president emphasized that stress is put on institutional work, rather than personalities. The choice of the population is the most important for Saakashvili, as he states.

The Georgian president added that the mayor of Tbilisi and local autonomies are elected according to direct votes. The parliament moved to Kutaisi. The power is decentralizing.
