A group of lawyers announced a strike set for June 11, Aysor reports.
About 100 lawyers have joined to protest against the Court of Cessation. A new order of cessation was adopted in 2007. Lawyers say that the court has been using the law for its own benefit, without explaining its reasons for rejecting cases.
Lawyers remind that the Chairman of the Armenian Court of Cessation, Arman Mkrtumyan, promised to fix this right after being appointed. Nothing has changed in four years.
