Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan has noted at the economic conference in Istanbul that normalization of ties with Israel bases on the old conditions: apologies for attack on the Mavi Marmara ship, compensations for families of sailors killed and lift of the Gaza blockade.
The prime minister said that no compromise can be reached on the three conditions. He added that tensions are not an obstacle for development of Israeli-Turkish economic relations.
Erdogan said that Turkey does not feel a lack of Israeli tourists and neither has much need in them.
Israel continues considering responses, should Turkey demand extradition of four commanders of the Israeli Defense Army and files an order for their arrest to other states. One of such means is financial support for Kurdish human rights activists accusing high-ranking Turkish officers of military crimes.
