Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkmenistan Vakhdat Sultanzade made a special article for the 20th anniversary of Azerbaijan and Turkmen ties marked on June 9, Trend reports.
The article emphasizes on the positive developments in Azerbaijani-Turkmen relations, bilateral cooperation. The ambassador thanks Turkmenistan for supporting Azerbaijani territorial unity.
Over 40 bilateral agreements have been signed between the two states in the last 20 years. Agreements signed within the framework of visits of Presidents Ilham Aliyev and Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave boosts to the friendly ties. The two states contribute to regional stability.
Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are on the crossing point of Europe and Asia. This allows them to make use of their geoeconomic benefits. They have projects provoking interest of US and EU companies.
