European Commission to help Syrian population

 

The European Commission has announced today that it will provide 23 million euro of humanitarian aid for the Syrian population and refugees, RIA Novosti reports.

European Commissioner Christina Georgiyeva said that 95,000 people are refugees, most of whom are in Libya, Jordan and Turkey.

The European Commission provided 10 million euro to help the Syrian population earlier. About a million need humanitarian aid, Georgiyeva says.
