Head of FPS of Kabardino-Balkaria arrested

The Tver Court of Moscow arrested the head of the Federal Postal
Services of Kabardino-Balkaria, the former Deputy Minister for State
Property Management and Land Resources of the Republic, Ruslan
Zhamborov, suspected of embezzlement of state property worth almost 20
million rubles, RASPI reports.

On Thursday, the Interior Ministry's press service reported the
arrest of high-ranking officials suspected of the illegal privatization
and subsequent sale of the Philharmonic Hall in the center of Nalchik,
worth about 20 million rubles. Among those arrested were the head of the
presidential administration of Kabardino-Balkaria, Vladimir Zhamborov,
his brother - former Deputy Minister for State Property Management and
Land Resources, Ruslan Zhamborov and others.
