Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov, who is on an official visit to the Netherlands, met on Tuesday with Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte, ministry's press service told Trend.
During the meeting they discussed the economic and political relations between the two countries and exchanged views on the future prospects for relations.
Mammadyarov conveyed greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Mark Rutte and invited the Prime Minister to visit Azerbaijan.
Thanking for the invitation, the Prime Minister conveyed his congratulations on the successful holding in Azerbaijan of Eurovision 2012 Song Contest.
The meeting focused on the processes taking place in Azerbaijan and the region as well as issues of interest to the parties.
