Turkey permits gasoline shipments from Georgia to Nakhchivan

Turkey has permitted transit of gasoline and diesel fuel from Georgia to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Trend reports.

The permission was granted for three years. transit through Turkey may be carried out via railway or road transport.

The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is surrounded by Iran, Turkey and Armenia. It has had no railway or road connection with Azerbaijan since the 1990s. The Nagorno-Karabakh conflict broke links with the republic.
