Turkish Speaker of Parliament Cemil Cicek has urged Turkic states to preserve and strengthen democracy in regions, Trend reports.
The speaker attended the third session of TurkPA in Bishkek on Friday. He pointed Krgyzstan and its experience in building a parliamentary republic.
Kazakhstan is the economic and democratic leader in the region and had clear and open parliamentary polls, Cicek says. Azerbaijan and turkey are democratic states. Turkic states need to fight risks and threats together, the speaker emphasizes.
