An Iranian delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister for consulate affairs Hasan Kashkavi is on a visit to the Turkmen Foreign Ministry, Trend reports on Friday.
The sides discussed consultative issues. Iran has noted the importance of the international conference on refugees in the Muslim world held last month.
Officials noted productivity of partnership in fuel and energy, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
Turkmenistan and Iran realize such projects as the Dostluk Water Reservoir, Tejen-Serahs-Mashhad Railway, gas pipelines and power lines, North-South Railway with Kazakh assistance and financial support of the Asian and Islamic Development Banks. The sides discussed increase of energy supplies from Turkmenistan.
