Investigators have charged Ruslan Zhamborov, former Deputy Minister for Management of State Property and Land Resources of Kabardino-Balkaria, for property theft worth 20 million rubles, his lawyer Alexander Chernov said, RIA Novosti reports.
Initially, he was accused of fraud. The lawyer says that the case is unfair.
The Tverskoy Court of Moscow arrested Vladimir Zhamborov, head of the Presidential Administration of Kabardino-Balkaria, his brother Ruslan and a supervisor of the ministry Khabdulsalam Ligidov last week. They are suspected of selling a philharmonic building worth 20 million rubles for 1 million rubles.
