Deputy Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Rustam Usubov said on Monday that the fate of Ex-President Ayaz Mutallibov will depend on the new bill on ex-presidents, Trend reports.
The law does not protect presidents that experienced impeachment. The president’s wife gets the husband’s pension, should he die, until her children become 18 years old.
An ex-president gets a car, driver and three bodyguards. Ex-presidents and their pairs get diplomatic passports and immunity. The prosecutors may remove the immunity if a former president commits a crime. Former presidents get special medical care.
