Georgia to cover education fees for Abkhazians and South Ossetians with neutral passports

The Georgian government will pay for higher education of Abkhazians and South Ossetians with neutral passports, PIK reports.

The Georgian Ministry for Education and Science says that owners of neutral passports will study abroad. Registration of people willing to get financing has already started.

Neutral passport issuing was approved by the Georgian government in mid-2011. The passports allow citizens of Abkhazia and South Ossetia to visit foreign states. The IDs have no state symbols, they only have registry numbers.
