Georgian ministers for economy and environment met officials of Kazakhstan, Panama, Malaysia, Laos, Congo, Philippines and Polkand at the Rio+20 forum on green economy in Brazil, Business Georgia reports.
Georgian Minister for Environment Goga Khachidze said that a lot has been invested in environmental protection to attract more tourists and open new workplaces.
Georgia initiated sides and its partners to add points on environmental education to the declaration that will be passed. Georgian Minister for Economy Vera Kobali said that the country views green economy as an opportunity for business to develop industry, tourism and agriculture.
