Turkish President: Necessary steps with regard to destruction of Turkish aircraft to be taken

Ankara will take the necessary steps with regard to the destruction of a Turkish fighter by Syria, President of Turkey Abdullah Gul said on Saturday, Trend cites the Turkish TV channel TRT as saying.

"It is impossible to hide such actions and certainly all necessary steps will be taken" Gul said.

The search for the bodies of the pilots continues, the president said.

Syria shot down Turkish fighter plane on Friday. According to the Syrian side, the fighter violated the airspace of the country, and Syria defined its belonging to Turkey after the plane was shot down.
