The NATO Deputy Secretary General, Ambassador Alexander Vershbow, will visit Georgia, Georgia Online reports.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Jalagania stated at a briefing that the visit will take place from June 28-29. Vershbow will take part in a security conference to be held in Batumi.
Jalangania said the visit will focus on the participation of Georgia in the ISAF program and the role of Georgia in peacekeeping operations in Afghanistan before and after 2014.
