President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with his Turkish counterpart Abdullah Gul in Istanbul today, Trend reports.
They said the 20th anniversary jubilee summit of the Organization of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation would contribute to expansion of cooperative relations among member states. The presidents expressed satisfaction with the rapid development of relations between the two countries in all spheres. They also underlined the necessity of expansion of activity towards further development of cooperation.
The presidents also praised the current level of economic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey. They stressed the importance of documents signed on development of this sphere.
The sides also exchanged views on a settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict over Nagorno-Karabakh.
