Three Turkish troops have been killed and one injured in a clash with militants of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) in the Eruh District of the Siirt Province, Trend reports.
A Turkish soldier died and three were injured in Northern Iraq on Monday.
The Turkish conflict with the Kurdistan Workers' Party has been ongoing for over 25 years. The PKK demands independence. The conflict has resulted in deaths of over 45,000 people. The UN and the European Union recognize the PKK as a terrorist organization.
