Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev is on a visit to Kiev to support Russian investors, Interfax reports.
Medvedev will meet Ukrainian President Victor Yanukovych, attend the ninth session of the committee for economic cooperation of the Russian-Ukrainian interstate commission.
The officials will also discuss ratification of the CIS free trade agreement in Ukraine. Russia ratified it in April 2012.
Ukraine expects to discuss gas contracts with Russia. Ukrainian PM Nikolai Azarov said at the Pozner TV show that it will be discussed on June 27 and during the meeting of Russian and Ukrainian presidents on July 12.
